Michael Barber brings over a decade of experience in the business aviation industry to the Leviate Jet Sales team. Alongside his aviation expertise, Michael has more than 20 years of experience in risk mitigation through his time in the emergency services. He excels at identifying optimal solutions and minimizing risk, a skill demonstrated through his leadership on projects for buyers and sellers across six continents.
Michael’s passion for aviation began in North Carolina, where he grew up flying with his father and his father’s best friend, a retired commercial airline pilot. He has helped launch several boutique aviation consulting firms and has held roles in research and business development, managing acquisition feasibility studies, private charters, and market research.
Michael studied Business with a concentration in International Business at Liberty University. His extensive aviation knowledge, combined with his dedication to helping people, makes him a valuable member of the Executive Sales Team, where he focuses on finding the best aircraft to meet his clients’ needs.
Based in Charlottesville, Virginia, Michael resides in the heart of Virginia’s wine country, where he spent a decade as a professional medic and firefighter. A devoted husband and father, Michael and his family enjoy the outdoors, Polo on Sundays, and love vacationing in tropical locations.
